The Lawn

Located at the side of the gardens and inter-connected therewith are
the 1939-45 War Cemetery and St Luke's Church St Helier.

About half the British and Allied war graves (including American and Empire airmen).
They are mostly sailors and airmen who crashed or were shipwrecked here.
This is the only British war grave cemetery with wooden crosses.

An electrically operated carillion tower chimes the Angelus daily.
